This is a pace and splits calculator for the 95 mile West Highland Way ultramarathon, running the full length of this iconic trail, from Glasgow (Milngavie) to Fort William in the Scottish Highlands that was put together by climbers.net
It is a great tool for giving you and your support team an idea of expected times. Basically just move the slider to your predicted finishing time and it works out the average time for each checkpoint.
Note ... some people have found it very accurate while others haven't but it is a good place to start!
The times used are averaged from the 2012 race results, which had torrential rain right from the start making the going very difficult and slower than usual. There were 175 runners, and 68% finished.
