We have been informed that the field we normally use at Auchtertyre is too wet and therefore we only have the car park before the farm. This means that we may struggle to find room for all support cars if everyone tries to arrive early.
We are therefore asking that support teams (remember one car per runner) aim to arrive 20-30mins before their runner.
To give you an idea of when to arrive here is a plan based on last year’s times.
So if your runner arrived at Balmaha at 3hrs 30mins (4.30am) then plan to arrive at Auchtertyre at no earlier than 11.45am.
I will have the times all runners arrived at Balmaha so if you arrive 1-2hrs early I will ask you to go to Tyndrum and return later.
It is going to be tight but this seems the fairest way of doing it.
If, because of this, you miss your runner then you will not be penalised for not having the weighing card. You will be able to catch up with your runner at Tyndrum.
We will continue to use the one way system which will help with the flow of traffic.
For runners the checkpoint will be after the farm just after the bridge.
